About
The mission of Lone Star Light & Sound is to make your event a positive, lifelong memory. We are committed to exceeding your expectations by meeting and communicating with you in the weeks leading up to your event to ensure that everything runs smoothly, from the order of announcements to the songs you want to hear to the songs you don't want to hear. We want to make you as comfortable as possible so you won't have to worry about the details. Most of all, we want you to have fun! We want you, your parents, your grandparents, your nieces and nephews, your cousins, your friends, and those people that you don't even know to get up and dance like they've never danced before! We love what we're doing and we are confident that you will also love what we are doing!
Ryan Ford "MC Neat"
Ryan grew up in Tyler, so he knows what a Tyler party needs! He is proud to still call Tyler his home, where he lives with his wife, Tori. His life has been defined by music from a very early age. Ryan grew up listening to the likes of The Beatles, Cat Stevens, Neil Diamond, and Led Zeppelin. When he was a young boy, he enjoyed defying his parents by listening to tapes that they didn't approve of, like Vanilla Ice and Metallica. In his late teens his goal was to find bands that no one had heard of so he could say, "Yeah, I liked them before they were popular. They aren't that good anymore. You should have heard their earlier stuff." Now he has no shame admitting that he sings and dances in his car when a cheesy pop song comes on the radio. Through it all, Ryan learned that music is a personal experience. He knows the power music has on people's emotions and he respects that. One thing you can be sure of is that Ryan is gonna dance at your event... even if no one else does!
Arnie Bobbitt "Critical"
Arnie grew up in the Piney Woods of East Texas, but now calls Tyler home along his wife, Kim, and son, Quentin (named after Quentin Tarantino). Arnie is the technological wizard behind the curtain. He is known for his ability to create something amazing from virtually nothing, so with the state of the art technology of Lone Star Light & Sound at his fingertips, the sky is the limit. Arnie is the go to guy for all things concerning lighting and sound. He was raised on country, rebelled with grunge, and later refined his palette with classic rock. Arnie's musical influences include Rush, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and the musical stylings of Neil Diamond, who is quite possibly the greatest American songwriter of his generation. His love of music is out shadowed only by his love for LOUD music. Arnie brings the "tech" to techno!
